Central Florida Walkers' races are open to all walkers age eight and over. To be eligible for an award as a walker you must meet the age requirements set for the race distance. Awards are given for the top three overall male and female walkers.

CFW Grand Prix Awards
To be eligible for a Grand Prix award. participants must walk in at least one CFW Grand Prix Series race and must be a CFW Individual Member or a part of a CFW Family Membership as of 31 December of the race season to be eligible for points and awards.
Overall Grand Prix points are awarded to the top 10 males and females in each race and Grand Prix age group points are awarded to the top 10 males and females in each age group.
Note: : Individuals do not receive any overall or age group points for participating in the races not designated for their age group. That is, adults and Youth 14 to 18 do not receive points for the shorter races and Youth, ages 8 to 13, do not receive points for the longer races.
Note: Your age group for the Grand Prix Series is determined by the age at which you entered your first Grand Prix race.
For example:
If you are 39 years old when you enter and compete in the Track Shack Celebration of Running in August, you will be competing in the 39 and Under group even if you celebrate your 40th birthday in September of the same year.
